South Beach Hotels

Situated in a serene environment marked by dunes, salt marsh, and pine woodlands, South Beach hotels are noted for their elegant architectural style and cutting-edge comforts. Often considered to be the most spectacular section of Miami Beach, South Beach houses a number of nightclubs, historic hotels, and world-class gourmet restaurants. It covers the lower 23 blocks of the island from 1st street to Lincoln Road, including Alton Road, Collins Avenue, Ocean Drive, and Washington Avenue.

The 800-odd buildings with distinct architectural styles including art deco, garden style, and modern, were built between 1920 and 1940, and some are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. South Beach boasts an array of accommodation options ranging from luxury to budget hotels. Most of the boutique-style hotels have been restored to their original beauty. South Beachs luxury hotels are mainly Clinton Hotel South Beach, Beach Hotel Bar and Bistro, Holiday Inn South Beach, Hotel Ocean, Newport Beachside Hotel, Park Central Hotel, Riu Florida Beach Hotel, Roney Palace Resort, The National Hotel, and Winterhaven Hotel. Some of the budget accommodations are Delano Hotel, Hotel Nash, and Hotel Victor. Lodging options in South Beach also include beach villas, bungalows, condos, and hostels.

Almost all South Beach hotels have facilities including business centers, full-service restaurants, multilingual staff, and valet parking. The hotel rooms sport fully stocked mini bars, high speed Internet access, two telephone lines with data ports, and signature furniture. Custom-designed linens, in-room safes, and toiletries with spa collections of renowned brands are usually available in the luxury hotels. Some South Beach hotels also provide facilities for Yoga.

Lummus Park, the Bass Museum of Art, Everglades Alligator Farm, Pro Player Stadium, and Vizcaya Museum and Gardens are just some of the local attractions. Guests can indulge in a host of activities such as bicycling, fishing, golf, sun bathing, scuba diving and snorkeling.
