Sue Instead of Fixing the Problem

What happened to the days, when something went wrong you fixed the problem and went on. Now a days everyone wants to sue each other. And the bad thing about all this, it is advertised on TV, radio stations and in magazines. No wonder everyone wants to sue each other. You are being encouraged to do so.

In my days if I got burnt from a hot cup of coffee, I would blame myself for being careless, clean up the mess and be done with it. Now, if a person gets burnt because of being careless, they simply sue the place of business where they purchased the coffee, get large settlements for it and the place of business gets bad publicity.

Back then if you didn't get along with your neighbor, you try to find out what the problem was and fix it or you just ignored him or her. Now a days, you just sue them.

Watch out when someone brings their vehicle in for repairs. If you do someone wrong or charge too much, you may get sued. There are people out there that are just waiting for their time to sue someone and make some money off it.

I feel sorry for the poor folks out there trying to make a living and end up getting sued and lose everything. And why is that? Because society lets it happen.

It seems like the honest people are getting the short end of the stick. And we are letting it happen. You talk to someone about something that happened and right away they ask, did you sue them, or they will say, sue them. I am not one for suing someone and I wouldn't want to be sued either. To me, a lot of this is going on because people are cowards and are taking the cowards way out by letting society talk you into suing instead of taking care of the problem, like your parents did and your grandparents did. They didn't go out and find a lawyer. They all took care of the problem themselves.
