It appears Michael Brown from FEMA has been vindicated over the hurricane Katrina disaster. After I read the 200 page report there was really not much he added that would point to any type of incompetence on Michael Brown's part. It looks as if the Governor of Louisiana and the Mayor of New Orleans really caused most other problems. For instance Ray Negan left 1500 buses to be submerged by the levee break, which could've been used to get the people out of the city. And before the storm hit it was said there was a 50-50 chance that the levee would break. After the storm the levee did not break and everything was said to be okay, right after the storm the levee did break and all of a sudden it was a huge emergency. Michael Brown's FEMA warned the Mayor of New Orleans that they needed to have mandatory evacuations, but the Governor of Louisiana left it up to the mayor and the mayor did not listen or follow the advice to save his chocolate populace as he calls them. It appears that Michael Brown of FEMA ended up a political casualty and scapegoat in the ever-increasing pettiness of human politics in the United States of America. The blame game is alive in well and it is one of the most pathetic and pitiful sights of our present period. These are not leaders they are posers and the only real man Michael Brown got the shaft because he was to honorable to participate. Consider this in 2006. |
