So much has been written on making a living on the Information Super Highway from the comfort of your own home, some going as far as to claim that it can also make you tons of money whilst you are asleep too, while also choosing to work in your pajamas.

For those relatively new, who may be wondering what is meant by the term Information Super Highway, simply put, it is the Internet, and is so termed because so much information is exchanged using this method of communication.

You may be wondering what is it you have to put in front of the internet audience to entice it to buy. Do not let this worry you anymore, as the simple answer to that question ties in perfectly with the phase we are presently going through. Yes, that phase we are living today is known as the Information Age, whereby people from all walks of life are demanding constant information all the time, and they want it now. Alas this thirst can be easily quenched by supplying INFORMATION PRODUCTS.

Believe it or not, though at first for everyone this task seems daunting, it can be easily achieved, if we dare take a good look within inside of us, whereby, resides a book in all of us, unique to ourselves.

This would be a great way to start since it does not cost anything except in terms of the time and effort put into it to produce the book in the first place, with maybe subsequent updates to keep it alive, seeming like a walk in the park. What better way than drawing on your own personal experiences than this. After all there are other people out there that may be just seeking the same answer to that same topic addressed by you, who may also be willing to pay for it too, in order to help them solve their own situation.

Having written the book, this would then lend itself to replicating it into other forms such as e-book, audio, video, or a combination of all these. The best part of this process is that the numerous benefits, overwhelmingly outweigh, the other normal types of product creation. Some of the benefits would include, no need to keep inventory, copies can be made at the click of a button, product created can be put up in front of internet audiences instantaneously, potential customers can buy it and download it on the spot to satisfy their impulse; also benefiting from it with no further delay, no holding and shipping costs, available 24 hours a day-7 days a week-365 days a year, never tires out promoting itself to audiences receptive to what it has to offer. Well I think that list may give you just a glimpse as to what it compares to the other traditional alternatives available.

But you may be wondering at this stage how you are going to get potential customers to part with their money to buy your product. After all let us face it, with a vast place like the internet one has to stand out from the crowd. An important thing to keep in mind is the fact, that the same customers are constantly being bombarded with offers similar to yours, from other competitors like you, vying for their business.

This is achieved by promoting your product using a Unique Selling Proposition, or as it is better known a U.S.P. What is meant by this, is basically, the benefits contained in your product that puts it a cut above the rest, and differentiates it from the rest of your competition in the marketplace. However, it need not be just a single U.S.P., as you may offer more than a single one, to position your product at the forefront in order to secure strengthening your chances of success, giving you the required edge over your competitors to succeed in the process.

This way you make your product unique, which in turn would translate in the potential customer having to procure it solely from you in order to fulfill his needs, since others would not be able to provide the same. A side kick to this is that having done so would now result in you gaining a stronghold over your share of the market, by creating a monopoly where none existed before, with customers coming back for more as you would have held yourself out as their only source of procurement.

So now that you know what it really it all boils down to, get going, take action, and just do it.
